It was a truly unique experience, that can barely be communicated through photo let alone words. The Hacienda was a throwback to Spanish architecture done right in this country. Driving up to Scribe, we passed many winery's that mock the 'chateau' look, but ultimately look ridiculous and much more like a super-sized McMansion. This house was falling apart in all the right ways, and in each room there was an artistic surprise. Typewriters filled one room, an absinthe station rested in another, with little instillation's running amok in every nook and cranny available. There was music that spontaneously started, and food was being made and served up until the break of dawn, no joke.
My friends and I decided to camp, as did many others. It was a wonderful night, attracting a unique melange of people - many involved in art and food - kids and dogs alike. Waking up on a field was amazing. The thick but familiar fog hugged me as I exited the tent, and a warm breakfast awaited us back at the Hacienda.
Please, try to picture this in your head, I find myself reminiscing this weekend often.
The next day:

Wait, how'd I end up here?
