Forget the OC the Bravo reality show is moving to the big apple! 5 "housewives" are filmed 1 day out of the week. But whats the deal with the lack of diversity among these women?? All these women are white! The OC is one thing, but in New York? Don't tell me you couldn't find any debutant black women.

• A Health Food Chef
• A women who married a French aristocrat and used to be a model/actress
• A Visual Merchandiser for a major retailer
  
• One is a real estate agent that sells left over estates to discount chains/boutiques

Some quick facts you should know about the new media monster

• The founder of Facebook is a young man not much older than you and me ( that is if you are around the (new) age of 22. (sleaze)
• Microsoft bought just over 1% of the website for $240 million! (youtube syndrome)
  
• Facebook uses a program that monitors your every move and alerts your friends of your actions (who you commented to, what clubs you're in, what you're wearing/reading/ doing/ thinking/eating/learning/driving/boycotting/following)
• this program was so intrusive that Facebook was legally forced to tone it down to protect they privacy of its patrons
  
• Every club you join on Facebook classifies you to corporations the same way your Safeway Club Card does. (sneaky)
• Adults are currently the fastest growing group joining Facebook (creepy).
  

Every social networking site will ultimately sell out to some corporation that will capitalize on your likes and dislikes, music choices, and favorite movies listed on your profile. Young kids are the new savvy entrepreneurs and their franken-websites are solidifying the internet as the new landscape for economic opportunity. Facebook/myspace/youtube are all capitolizing on the unique and organic ideas of the individual.

I'm praying that teleporting will be the next big thing.

The punk founder of fake(ass)book was on 60 minutes and was 'grilled' on the workings of his company. The buzz behind other media outlets like facebook (myspace/youtube) are so astonishing to analystis because companies are racing to buy these sites before they are even established on the actual market. ( facebook has yet to publish release any $$ gained.. as the same for youtube) although it can be easily inferred that sites like this will be forever popular, considerin they have upwards of 100million users. Programs like this are the future of the economy. If Microsoft is interested in owning as little as 1% of Facebook, than others will soon follow suit.

GAS PRICES ARE GOING UPPPPPPP, Up, UP, UPP!


Jeroen van der Veer, the CEO of Shell Oil Co. , stated
"Regardless of which route we choose, the world's current predicament limits our maneuvering room. We are experiencing a step-change in the growth rate of energy demand due to population growth and economic development, and Shell estimates that after 2015 supplies of easy-to-access oil and gas will no longer keep up with demand."

Translation: In 7 years, demand for oil will exceed production/supply and the price ($$) of gasoline will skyrocket past affordability. $3/gallon will be a dream boat compared to 2015. This means that it will cost more to drive, fly, boat, train, bus, or whatever you do.
Translation: The price of any one product that is imported into this country will rise.
This includes: food, clothes, books, electronics, toys, tools= everything.

Obama: 2nd black president?

Nah Bill it aint you!

Even though B. Clinton was credited for being the 1st Black President for some time, he should step down from that pedestal and allow the man more fit for the position hold such a the title. Barack Obama is everything that Clinton was back in 1992, except he's actually a black man! Maybe this is why Bill's active role on Hillary's campaign is so alarming.
Bill was thought of as the man who motivated the youth, united the masses, and represented progress and change; and indeed at the time he was that man. But now that man is Obama, and to watch Bill help Hillary smear Obama's name is quite contradictory to everything that Bill stood for and everything that he still represents. Many democrats have openly admitted (exit polls) that they'd vote for Bill again if he could run, so to watch Bill get ugly towards Obama is both a detriment to his name and Hillary's campaign.
Post South Carolina:: with Obama sweeping over 55% of the vote, the Hillary camp is squabbling to quite the former president in hopes to revive her campaign.

Senator Kennedy (major Dem Senator)

Caroline stated that she believed Obama is the first man since her father to spark hope within the American people since her father in the 1960's. A statment that muted the Clintons.
** supposedly Bill Clinton pleaded with her/senator Kennedy to NOT endorse Obama.

Tricks are for Kids:

South Carolina backed Obama shown by the results of their Democratic Primary hosted on Saturday January 27th. After the heated exchange between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, as discussed below, I think many people were made aware of the slimy tactics being used by the Clinton Campaign in order to smear Obama's image and goal of the White House. It was disgusting to witness and I'm glad that South Carolina reflected their disgust by voting otherwise.

Obama won the black vote, the young vote, the old vote.
Edwards won the white-male vote.
Hillary was reduced to her core constituancy: white women.

Lesson learned Hillary: dirty tricks are never rewarded. :)
