WTF??

Satire doesn't always = success.

The New Yorker Magazine published a controversial cover with Barack and Michelle Obama. This cover showcased Barack dressed in traditional Muslim garb and Michelle with a rifle strapped to her body, doing her trademarked 'fist pump'. The American flag is conveniently burning in the oval office fireplace. What was supposed to be satirical take on the political ongoings was interpreted by society as tasteless political strategy. Apparently 12% of voters still believe that Obama is a Muslim, and this magazine cover doesn't help the situation.
