The delay of this installment was due to my camera being jacked. November was skipped due to turkey fever. I just learned that Turkey's are actually native to North America, so there is some reason to the tradition.
Pretty much all thats in season are root vegetables and citrus, but here were some common motif's seen at the market this week...
Fruits:
- Apples
- Buddha's hand (pictured above, kinda like a giant lemon rind)
- Grapefruit
- Persimmon
- Pomegranate
- Satsuma Mandarin
Veggies:
- Brussels Sprouts
- Celery Root
- Daikon
- Romanesco Broccoli (pictured above)
- Sun Choke
- Winter Squash
