Gosh darn it. I've fallen for a video vixen.

There is currently no shows catering to music on the channel dubbed "Music Television". However, even though TRL is cancled, I think MTV has been tightening their music game by exposing underground-ish artists: Murs, Vampire Weekend et al. (I do have to admit of cringing when I see an artist that I know grace my screen).
Enter: SantoGold.
Maybe nothin is underground anymore, since I'm pretty sure she is a product of Myspace. Nevertheless, I can't stop listening to L.E.S Artistes. Upon coppin' her CD via underground methods, I couldn't help but dub her a pseudo MIA or even Gwen Stefani (circa Tragic Kingdom or Return of Saturn). Even her haircut has been done, having rocked the a-symetrical 'do myself; be it a few years ago. Sprinkles of originality do appear on her LP, she still vindicates the idea that nothing is organic anymore. This being said, her CD was my flavor of the week for a couple weeks now. :P
