The Smithsonian is in talks with the Aretha hat. They want her that Inaugeration hat! Along with Michelle Obama's Jason Wu party gown, the Smithsonian has also requested the bedazzled and embelleshed pill box that The Queen of Soul graced us with. She has yet to decide whether she will part with the accessory or not, stating, “I am considering it. It would be hard to part with my chapeau since it was such a crowning moment in history." Understandable, but its not like she can wear it again. What, is she saving it for a special occassion maybe? Or a trip to the supermarket?
