Smell the Roses.

Carbon footprint. Grey energy. Being a consumer is like living out the saying "out of sight, out of mind" or "ignorance is bliss". Well wake up people! There is a lot of energy used to make the everyday items that we consume. The image below is just a fraction of the original image, but it displays the amount of water that is used to produce the item listed. Think about it.
